Charm School Hen Night Dance Classes in Aviemore

For a Highland Fling of a hen party, head to Aviemore, the ideal hen party destination for groups who love the best of the outdoors and indoors! Ideally situated for access to all the Cairngorms have to offer, Aviemore is a Highland gem. The best way to get to Aviemore is by car as, regardless of which direction you are coming from, you will be driving through some of the most dramatic and beautiful scenery in the world. Aviemore and the surrounding area are steeped in history, tradition and legend. The enduring landscape has borne witness to bloody battles between the warring Scottish clans, and has a romantic, haunting quality about it that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit.

The small resort of Aviemore is the ideal place for your hen party to explore the Cairngorms, the Angus Glens, Blair Atholl, Loch Ness, Royal Deeside and Donside. Hens who enjoy walking or climbing will be in their element in Aviemore, which is the ideal starting point to explore the region. If you would rather relax and still enjoy the exceptional scenery then there are plenty of places to drive to and have a picnic. Or have a tour of the area in a 4 × 4 round the Highland estates, learning about the beautiful region in style!

A trip to the area wouldn’t be complete without a visit to a Highland castle. Blair Castle is a must-see if your hen weekend has some free time in its schedule. If you like the romance of a ruined Highland castle then head to Drumin Castle.

No trip to the Highlands would be complete without a trip to a whisky distillery (or without sampling some!). Aviemore is the perfect location to start your whisky trail, with Glenlivet, Royal Lochnagar, Tomintoul, Dalwhinnie and Tomatin distilleries in the area. Whether you’re planning your Charm School dance class before or after a tipple is really up to your better judgement!

Aviemore, while a small resort, is busy all year round with tourists. There are stunning accommodation possibilities for hen parties in the area from intimate lodges to the MacDonald Resort which has five different hotels in Aviemore – and everywhere you are assured a warm Highland welcome. For dining with a difference you can head to the UK’s highest located restaurant, the Ptarmigan Restaurant, or pop into the cosy, candle-lit, conservatory restaurant of the Old Bridge Inn. To sample Highland hospitality, and a wee dram or two, head to the Winking Owl, warm up in the Cas Bar, or sample some top notch whiskies at the Laggan.

Be taught a lesson!

I would just like to say thank you for sorting out our dance class with Foxy. Everybody was practising the dance moves on the dance floor on the night, and we all had a good giggle doing it. A huge thank you to Foxy for dealing with us as I think most of us were shy at first but she made us very welcome. I will definitely recommend these classes to other people, and hope to book one of my own in the future.
